Yacco takes part to the Paris-Dakar Rally, the three-week adventurous race towards the Senegalese capital. Land of the most famous explorers and of times long since past during which Dr Livingstone and Lawrence of Arabia traced the first roads, Africa contributed to the legend of Yacco oils, which bring together know-how, innovation and high-technology.

By the end of the 1990s, Yacco is a partner of the Dakar Rally and proves its reliability in the most extreme conditions.

Yacco supports the ROC La Pierre du Nord team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1978. The team enters two Chevron B36, two beautiful one-seaters that reflect the spirit of a certain era.

The crew - Michel Pignard, Lucien Roussiaud and the Swiss Laurent Ferrier - arrives in the eleventh position in the general ranking and becomes the leader in the under-2-liter class. Yacco joins the list of winners of the prestigious race, and hereby demonstrates the unfailing quality of its products.

The 1930s is a decade of records for Yacco: great performances come one after the other with the celebrated Citroën Rosalie I, II and III... The fourth version, also known as the “petite Rosalie,” will become the most famous of them all and will go down in history as Yacco’s reason for eternal glory. The French company then becomes “The Oil For World Record.”

In the 21st century, Yacco continues forging its own legend, such as enabling Eric de Barberin flying a microlight at the speed of 300 km/h.
